Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 28, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order or purchasing any product or service through TechRoute66.com, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Refund and Returns Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions or the Refund and Returns Policy, do not proceed with your purchase.
These Terms apply to purchases made through TechRoute66.com, including, where applicable, software, digital products, subscriptions, remote installation services, diagnostic interfaces and hardware, kits, bundles, laptops, accessories, and other products or services offered on our website.
Additional terms, requirements, limitations, license conditions, or compatibility requirements stated on an individual product page also apply to the purchase of that product.
2. Products and Services
TechRoute66 supplies automotive diagnostic software, digital products, subscriptions, diagnostic hardware, interfaces, computers, accessories, kits, bundles, and related services.
Some products may include remote installation, configuration, activation, technical assistance, or other services. These services are included only where stated on the applicable product page or otherwise confirmed by TechRoute66.
TechRoute66 does not provide vehicle repair services and does not represent that the purchase of diagnostic software or equipment includes professional automotive repair, programming, coding, diagnostic, or technical training unless specifically stated.
Customers remain responsible for determining whether a particular product or service is suitable for their intended use.
3. Product Information and Compatibility
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, compatibility information, images, specifications, features, and other information published on TechRoute66.com are accurate.
Automotive diagnostic products often depend on factors outside TechRoute66's control, including:
- vehicle model, year, market, and configuration;
- computer hardware and operating system;
- diagnostic interface or VCI compatibility;
- OEM software versions;
- OEM servers and online services;
- third-party accounts and subscriptions;
- internet connectivity;
- vehicle control modules and electronic systems; and
- changes introduced by vehicle manufacturers or software providers.
Customers should review the applicable product description and compatibility information before purchasing.
If compatibility with a specific vehicle, control unit, function, device, or operating system is essential to your purchase, you should confirm compatibility with TechRoute66 before placing the order.
4. Digital Products and Software
Software and other digital products are supplied according to the description, license type, installation method, access method, duration, and limitations stated on the applicable product page.
Where a product is sold or described as a single-device installation or license, that purchase is limited to one device unless TechRoute66 expressly states otherwise.
A single-device purchase does not provide a right to install, activate, copy, transfer, or use the product on additional devices.
Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, a completed software installation does not include unlimited future reinstallations, device transfers, computer replacements, operating-system reinstalls, or installations following computer failure or damage.
If a new installation is required because a customer's computer has been replaced, reformatted, damaged, reset, or otherwise changed after the original installation, a new purchase or additional installation fee may be required.
Product-specific license conditions take priority where they differ from the general provisions in this section.
5. Remote Installation Services
Where remote installation is included with a product, installation may be performed using remote-access software such as AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or another appropriate remote-support tool.
The installation service may include configuration, setup, activation, and reasonable testing of the purchased product.
Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, technical support related to an installation is available for up to one month following completion of the installation.
Technical support does not include unlimited training, vehicle repair assistance, unrelated computer repair, or support for products or systems not purchased from TechRoute66.
Customers must remain reasonably available during the installation process and provide the access and information required to complete the service.
6. Customer Responsibilities for Installation
Where remote installation, configuration, activation, or diagnostic setup is required, the customer is responsible for:
- providing a compatible and properly functioning computer;
- maintaining a stable internet connection;
- providing the remote access reasonably required to complete the installation;
- ensuring sufficient storage space and system resources;
- connecting any required VCI or diagnostic interface when requested;
- ensuring the vehicle, diagnostic ports, modules, and related equipment required for testing are in suitable working condition;
- following reasonable installation instructions provided by TechRoute66; and
- making any temporary security, firewall, antivirus, or system changes reasonably required for installation when instructed to do so.
Customers are responsible for backing up important files and information before remote installation or configuration begins.
TechRoute66 is not responsible for installation delays or failures caused by incompatible hardware, damaged computers, unstable internet connections, defective diagnostic equipment, vehicle faults, customer-side configuration issues, or failure to satisfy stated product prerequisites.
7. License Use, Security, and Prohibited Activity
Customers must use software, subscriptions, digital products, and related services only in accordance with the applicable product terms and any licensing restrictions that apply.
Unless expressly authorized, customers may not:
- copy, distribute, resell, sublicense, or share a license or installation;
- install a single-device product on multiple devices;
- provide unauthorized third parties with access to licensed products;
- bypass or interfere with license verification or security mechanisms;
- reverse engineer, modify, tamper with, or attempt to defeat product security measures;
- use debugging, interception, API-monitoring, or similar tools for the purpose of bypassing product security or access restrictions; or
- otherwise use the product in a manner that violates applicable licensing terms.
Unauthorized use may result in suspension or termination of the affected product or service.
Where access is provided or controlled by a third-party software provider or OEM, that provider may also suspend, restrict, or terminate access in accordance with its own terms and security systems.
Customers whose access is suspended or terminated because of unauthorized use, prohibited activity, account sharing, security circumvention, or another material violation of the applicable terms may not be eligible for a refund.
Refund eligibility remains subject to our Refund and Returns Policy.
8. Subscriptions, Accounts, and Online Services
Some TechRoute66 products provide or depend upon subscriptions, online access, cloud services, OEM accounts, third-party accounts, or services operated by vehicle manufacturers or other third parties.
The duration and included features of a subscription are those stated on the applicable product page at the time of purchase.
Third-party and OEM services may be modified, updated, restricted, temporarily unavailable, or discontinued by their respective providers.
TechRoute66 does not control the infrastructure, policies, servers, security systems, availability, or future product decisions of third-party providers.
Where a feature requires a separate OEM dealer account, manufacturer subscription, vehicle entitlement, regional authorization, or other third-party requirement, the customer is responsible for obtaining that requirement unless the product description expressly states that it is included.
TechRoute66 does not guarantee access to online programming, coding, security, or manufacturer-controlled functions unless that access is expressly included in the applicable product description.
9. OEM and Third-Party Software
Some products supplied or supported through TechRoute66 interact with, depend upon, or relate to software and systems developed by vehicle manufacturers and other third parties.
OEM software, third-party software, trademarks, brand names, logos, documentation, services, and related intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Vehicle manufacturers and third-party providers may modify their software, systems, compatibility requirements, online services, functions, access controls, or licensing rules without notice to TechRoute66.
TechRoute66 is not responsible for loss of functionality, incompatibility, feature restrictions, service interruptions, or other changes caused by modifications made by an OEM or third-party provider after purchase.
We do not guarantee continued availability of a particular manufacturer-controlled function, server, account feature, vehicle function, control unit, or online service unless expressly stated in writing.
10. Hardware Products
Hardware products, including diagnostic interfaces, VCIs, computers, cables, accessories, and other physical products, are subject to the specifications and compatibility information stated on the applicable product page.
Customers are responsible for checking compatibility before purchase.
Hardware products may be subject to separate return eligibility, warranty conditions, shipping requirements, or other limitations described in our Refund and Returns Policy or on the applicable product page.
Software licensing provisions in these Terms do not automatically apply to physical hardware unless the hardware product also includes software or a digital service.
11. Kits and Bundles
Some TechRoute66 products combine software, hardware, subscriptions, installation services, accessories, or other components.
Each component of a kit or bundle may be subject to the terms that apply to that type of product.
For example, software licensing conditions may apply to the software portion of a bundle, while shipping, customs, and physical-return conditions may apply to its hardware components.
Any product-specific conditions stated on the applicable bundle or kit page also apply.
12. Installation, Activation, and Service Timeframes
Where installation or activation is required, TechRoute66 is entitled to up to three business days to complete the installation or activation unless a different timeframe is stated on the applicable product page or agreed with the customer.
If technical issues arise because of OEM server availability, software updates, third-party systems, compatibility issues, or other contributing factors, TechRoute66 may require up to ten business days to investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
These timeframes do not include delays caused by customer-side issues, including:
- failure to provide remote access;
- customer unavailability;
- unstable internet;
- incompatible or defective hardware;
- missing prerequisites;
- vehicle faults;
- third-party account issues; or
- other conditions outside TechRoute66's reasonable control.
13. Customs, Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees
Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, clearance fees, brokerage charges, and other fees imposed by their country or local authorities in connection with an order.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are not included in the product price and are not paid or reimbursed by TechRoute66.
Customers are responsible for understanding applicable import laws, restrictions, taxes, and customs requirements before purchasing.
TechRoute66 is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, import inspections, local regulations, or clearance procedures.
14. Refunds and Returns
Refunds, cancellations, exchanges, and returns are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Customers should review the Refund and Returns Policy before purchasing, particularly when purchasing digital products, software installations, subscriptions, customized services, activated products, or physical goods.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

TechRoute66 may restrict access to the website or particular services where reasonably necessary to protect customers, systems, security, or business operations.
16. Intellectual Property
The TechRoute66 website, TechRoute66 branding, original website design, original written content, graphics, and other materials created by or for TechRoute66 are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of TechRoute66 intellectual property to the customer.
Third-party trademarks, manufacturer names, product names, software, logos, documentation, and other third-party intellectual property appearing on the website remain the property of their respective owners.
References to vehicle manufacturers, brands, software products, or third-party services are used for identification, compatibility, informational, or product-description purposes and do not by themselves imply ownership by TechRoute66.
17. Third-Party Websites and Services
TechRoute66.com may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services.
TechRoute66 does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, availability, security, or operation of third-party websites or services.
Use of a third-party website or service may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policies.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TechRoute66.com and its website services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
TechRoute66 does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available.
Product-specific warranties, guarantees, support commitments, or service obligations are limited to those expressly stated on the applicable product page, in these Terms, or in another written agreement with TechRoute66.
Nothing in this section excludes any warranty, guarantee, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TechRoute66 is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use the website, a product, or a third-party service.
TechRoute66 is not responsible for losses resulting from:
- customer misuse;

- defective customer equipment;
- unauthorized software modification;
- third-party or OEM system changes;
- manufacturer server outages;
- loss or suspension of third-party services;
- customer failure to follow stated requirements; or
- events outside TechRoute66's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
20. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
To the extent legally permitted, disputes arising from these Terms or purchases made through TechRoute66.com shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Delaware.
21. Changes to These Terms
TechRoute66 may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services, business operations, legal requirements, or third-party systems.
The current version will be published on this page together with the date it was last updated.
Changes to these Terms generally apply to website use and purchases made after the updated Terms become effective.
The terms applicable to a completed purchase remain subject to the version and product conditions applicable at the time of that transaction, except where a change is required by law or relates to an ongoing service that is expressly subject to updated terms.
