GODIAG GT100 OBDII 16PIN Protocol Detector Universal Breakout ECU Connector
More than a simple OBD-II breakout box, the GODIAG GT100+ is an OBD-II breakout box designed specifically for off-board module and key programming and features a display readout for both voltage and current draw through the box.
GODIAG GT100 Highlights
- 1 year warranty.
- Used with KESS V2 and Ktag
- ECU connection + OBDII Protocol Detector
- The cable can be extended, with Optional dedicated adapter
- Compatible with tools from LAUNCH, AUTEL, FOXWELL, XHORSE, VXDIAG and so on
- Convert OBD1 diagnostic interface to the standard OBD2 diagnostic interface
- GT100 supports K-line communication. If need both K-line and CANBUS communication, choose GT100 Pro.
- Used with BMW-CAS4 Adapter test platform to detect whether the CAS4 key programming work perfectly or not
Each OBD-II pin has a 4mm safety banana socket and a colored LED to indicate status display:
– Green on pins 4/5 indicates ground
– Red on pin 16 indicates power
– Blue (flashing) is for communication lines
Test leads and probes with 4mm banana plugs will connect directly into the 4mm safety sockets.
The front panel has 3 switches, a master power switch for the box and two separate 12V ouputs for powering modules through the DB25 jumper cable.
The GT100+ features a unique DB25 jumper cable which allows technicians to connect to and power up one or more modules when performing module diagnostics, programming or immobilzer work.
Use the DB25 jumper cable to connect your scan tool’s OBD-II cable to any OBD-I or manufacturer-specific diagnostic port.
Using the included AC adapter, the GODIAG can also be used as an auxiliary power supply and memory saver during battery service or replacement.
GODIAG GT100 OBD2 Breakout Box Functions:
1. Detect the communication signal of diagnostic & programming tool.
After connecting the diagnostic & programming tool to the OBD2 port of GT100, select the car model and function to be performed.
You will see the protocol indicator light on GT100 will turn on or flash (because the diagnostic & programming tool will send out the communication signal).
If the indicator light is not on, it indicates that something is wrong with the connection of diagnostic & programming tool, or the device is damaged.
2. Display status during communication.
After connecting GT100 to the OBD2 port of the vehicle, turn on the “Power” switch, you will see the current vehicle battery voltage displayed on the device.
Then connect the diagnostic & programming tool which will communicate with the vehicle and the corresponding protocol indicator light will turn on or flash on the GT100.
Very helpful to determine the protocol of vehicle module.
3.Quickly communicate with a single ECU on bench by connecting with the ECU diagnostic / programming tool.
Which allow the engineers or technicians to complete the job in the office, also keep away the risk of data loss in other modules when directly testing on the vehicle.
4.Connect multiple car ECU modules.
Which will greatly help the engineers & technicians who need to connect multiple ECUs when programming a module, for example, key programming is supposed to connect multiple ECU modules
More convenient for the professional engineers to detect and maintain.
5.When you replace the battery of the vehicle, GT100 will assist in power supply
After the battery is removed, some cars will be malfunction or lose the immobilizer remote data. If the engineers or technicians connect the battery to GT100 then to the OBD2 port of vehicle before replacing the battery, the ECU will be in an electric state.
6.GT100 will convert the OBD1 port of special truck to the standard OBD2 diagnostic port according to the protocol.
7.BMW-CAS4 adapter testing platform is used to detect whether the key that is programmed can work perfectly with the CAS4.
The OBD2 cable of GT100 is as long as 1.2 meters, which will solve the problem that the diagnostic tool cable is not long enough or the vehicle diagnostic port is too narrow to connect.
Please connect GT100 first, turn on the power switch and you will see the voltage on the screen which can tell whether the power supply of the vehicle is normal.
Which keep away the risk of burning out the diagnostic & programming tool due to the modified vehicle OBD2 port.
After plugging the banana plug to the colorful jumper cable, connect GT100 to the OBD1 diagnostic port of old car / special car, and meanwhile with the OBD 2-in-1 extension cable connected to the diagnostic & programming tool, the vehicle will be diagnosed or programmed perfectly.
Because GT100 will convert the OBD1 port or the special vehicle diagnostic port to the standard OBD2 diagnostic port.
